About us

For the members of the Appenzeller Echo, who have grown up in the traditions of Appenzell, the musical variety and diversity is an important part of every performance. Thus, the entire palette of the various Appenzeller music styles is presented to the audience in pure culture and enriched with musical folk music interludes from other world regions.
This musical arch stretches from traditional, old string music, Appenzeller music with singing, dulcimer music, natural yodeling with valley swinging, own and other new compositions, to musical interludes from other countries. (e.g. coffee house music, swing, tango, blues, Hungarian, Russian, Irish, Cajun, Latin, etc.) This wide variety keeps listening and enjoying attractive and entertaining, reaching a broad audience.
